Abandoned Dog Found with Her Belongings Can’t Understand Why Her Family Left Her
A heart-wrenching discovery changed Evelyn Flores’ life forever. Two years ago, her boyfriend came across a black-and-white dog abandoned near his workplace in Mexico. The dog appeared to be all alone. However, she had something with her—a bag of toys. This suggested she had once been loved.
The next day, Flores rushed to the same spot, hoping to help the abandoned dog. To her surprise, the dog was still there, waiting faithfully for her family to return. But in a heartbreaking turn of events, someone had stolen the toys. The pup had only the empty bag left, which she had been using as a makeshift bed.
“The poor dog was waiting for her family, not knowing they wouldn’t come back,” said Flores. “It’s shocking how cruel people can be.”
Despite already caring for eight dogs, Flores couldn’t leave the lonely pup behind. She took her in and named her Dulce.
Initially, Flores planned to find Dulce a new home. But as days turned into weeks, Flores and Dulce formed a deep bond. Unable to part with her, Flores decided to adopt Dulce permanently.
Now, more than two years later, Dulce has fully embraced her new life. She’s no longer the skinny, abandoned dog Flores found. “She came to us underweight, but now she’s happy and healthy,” said Flores.
For Dulce, it’s a second chance at life filled with love and care. And for Flores and her family, adopting Dulce has been a blessing. “We try to give her all the love she missed,” Flores said. “She’s truly brought joy into our lives.”
