Just over a month ago, Preciosa’s life took a tragic turn when she was forcibly removed from her home.
According to a witness, the owner not only evicted her but also physically harmed her before throwing her out into the cold. In a small, snowy town, she was left to fend for herself.
For two long days, she lingered near her former residence, gazing forlornly at the windows, as she tried to survive on the little kindness people offered.
Her situation worsened when, while searching for food, she suffered another brutal beating, resulting in a broken leg.
Unable to walk properly, Preciosa dragged herself along until she collapsed out of exhaustion. Thankfully, some kind souls found her and rushed her to the vet, praying for her recovery.
Day two of hospitalization brought surgery to repair the broken leg. This marked the beginning of her path to healing.
Recovering, she demonstrated admirable courage, gradually regaining strength and vitality.
By the seventh day after surgery, Preciosa demonstrated massive improvement. With the guidance of her doctors started walking slowly, day by day progressing more.
By day 15, she was strolling around with more confidence. Her determination shone through as she did her best to adapt.
Twenty days into her recovery journey, her wounds had healed, and examinations revealed she was well on the road to recovery. On day 32 she made a full recovery.
The once-abandoned dog, now sweet and friendly, had lost all traces of her despair. Supported by her sponsor, she gained weight and transformed into a ray of sunshine.
Preciosa’s next step was to find a permanent home. Her journey, from despair to recovery, had prepared the dog for a new and beautiful chapter in her life. Shortly after she found a beautiful family for herself.
By day 150, Preciosa was living happily, bringing joy to her human companions. Her tale is a triumphant example of what is possible with kindness.
