For Stephanie Easley, it wasn’t just coincidence — it was destiny.
“The second I saw Snuffy listed as needing a foster, I literally begged,” Stephanie shared. “Out of every rescue in every state, he was coming to the very one I’d just joined.”
When Snuffy arrived, the connection was instant. He clung to Stephanie as if he’d known her forever. From the moment he stepped paw into her life, he showered her with hugs, tail wags, and the kind of love that only comes from a dog who finally feels safe.

Just before his transport, Snuffy received a devastating diagnosis: heartworm. Not only that — he had an enlarged heart and damaged lungs.

For now, Stephanie is soaking up every second with her quirky, clingy foster pup.
“He’s changed my life,” she said softly. “He’s taught me that healing isn’t linear, that some wounds need time, patience, and lots of hugs. I’ll never forget him.”
