“Eliza couldn’t stop wagging her tail and whining to get my attention,” Chow told The Dodo. “She made sure I saw her. She wanted so much love from me. The only clear photos I was able to get were of her sticking her head through the broken kennel gates so she could get closer to me.”
The heartwarming scene melted Chow’s heart as she watched Eliza push her nose through the bent kennel bars, eager to interact with the outside world.
A Playful Spirit
Eliza’s playful and energetic demeanor shines even within the confines of her kennel. She exhibits a “puppyish” charm, making it clear she’s ready to be someone’s loyal companion.

“[She has a] very puppyish, playful spirit,” Chisholm wrote in her post.
The Facebook post, complete with adoption details, hopes to connect Eliza with her future family. The response has been encouraging, with animal lovers sharing the post and helping it trend across social media.
