Dog Holding Sign At Airport Waited Months For This Moment To Arrive

This is Frederico Alfredo — a sweet dog who works as a volunteer therapy animal at hospitals near his home in Brazil. Along with his mom, Jamili Saade, the pup loves nothing more than dropping by to visit patients who could use a little of the joy he has to offer.

But recently, Frederico got paid a special visit himself.

Not long after Saade adopted Frederico from another state, she was contacted by a family who had adopted one of his littermates — Frederico’s brother, named Tunico Bastos.

Though they lived in different cities, the two families kept in touch, with Saade, her husband and Frederico flying out to visit them in 2023.

“We became good friends,” Saade told The Dodo. “[This year] we invited them to visit us in our city.”

Frederico hadn’t seen his brother in many moons — but at the airport, he led the greeting party in anticipation of his arrival:

With a “PAW Patrol” balloon in tow and a little placard with his brother’s name, Frederico turned heads in the airport’s greeting area.

Then Tunico and his family arrived, kicking off a very brotherly reunion:

“They stayed with us for a week. We visited many sites throughout the city,” Saade said.

All during that special visit, Frederico and Tunico continued to prove that they were indeed siblings.

“They got on each other’s nerves,” Saade said. “But it was funny.”
