What Time Does ‘Industry’ Season 3 Premiere On HBO And Max?

The wait is finally over. HBO’s Original drama series Industry is returning for its anticipated third season tonight. Read on to learn what time Industry Season 3 will premiere on HBO and Max and how to watch the series on cable and streaming.

Created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, the HBO series offers an inside look at high finance by following a group of bankers navigating the intense environment of Pierpoint & Co’s London office. The eight-episode third season will see Pierpoint take a big bet on a major green energy business.

“Yasmin, Robert, and Eric, find themselves front and center in the splashy IPO of Lumi, a green tech energy company led by Sir Henry Muck, in a story that runs all the way to the very top of finance, media, and government,” the logline for Season 3 reads. “Since leaving Pierpoint, Harper is eager to get back into the addictive thrill of finance and finds an unlikely partner in FutureDawn portfolio manager Petra Koenig.”

Industry is finally getting HBO’s coveted Sunday-night slot that previously housed Succession, Game of Thrones and most recently, House of the Dragon. In an interview with GQ, the show’s co-creator Konrad Kay told the site that he and the other writers were scared to write about “bigger things” in the first two seasons of Industry, but that changed in Season 3.

“I don’t think we’d thought about how big the canvas of the show could be,” he explained. “And in season three, we were just like, Well, we might as well throw everything at the wall and try to link the bank to places outside the bank—to show how the trading floor interacted with newspapers interacted with this version of conservative politics in our country. We just went for it in a way that I don’t think we did in the first seasons.”

The Industry Season 3 premiere will air on Sunday, August 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and Max. New episodes will be released weekly on Sundays.
